Obs Bench Questions

I need to take off the handle that makes the rear bench fold to make room for my sub box.

If I take it off will it stay "locked" as in not fold able or will the seat stay "unlocked" as in not stay clicked in to the position allowing it to fold at all times?

Also How would one go about raising the bench as a whole 3/4" ? If that is easy I will do that instead...

dont kno about the handle situation. seems logical that if you take it off, it will stay locked up. As for raising the bench... maybe some washers under the mounting points? lemme know how this goes as I wanna stick some subs in my truck.
