Alright, so I had a few burnt out interior bulbs (in my opinion, far too common for gm, and lame that they cannot be replaced without busting out the soldering iron). Anyway, back to my question...These new bulbs are shining very yellow compared to the rest of the lights. This is because they lack the blue silicon 'light bulb condom' that the rest of the bulbs have. Is there anywhere that I can get these from? I know i can use LEDs, but I kind of just want the stock look. Also, ive seen corvetteradios.com, they have little bulbs with the blue skins on the bottom, but I dont really want to pay 15 dollars for 2. If need be, i may entertain the idea of white leds. The only issue I have with that is that im pretty sure some of the interior buttons have a blue filter (not on the bulb this time, on the actual button) while others do not. Im afraid that if i do white LEDs, that some buttons will look different than others. Also, having extra resistors needed kind of sucks too, bleh. Gimme some ideas here!

Maybe a blue texta/permanent marker?

Maybe a blue texta/permanent marker?

That as well as the stained glass markers/paint burn off over time so you will be left with the same yellowish color. Only way to do it right is get the blue bulb(s) or LEDs.

I went ahead and ordered some white leds. Got festoon led bulbs for my dome, footwell lamp, and puddle lights too.
