1980 Stero Installation and Antenna

I want to install a new stereo in my truck (1980 RCLB), but the hole for the factory stereo is not nearly big enough. Do I have to cut the hole in the metal and in the plastic in order to fit the stereo in?

I also would like to know what the deal with the lack of an antenna and where and how to install one.

You will have to cut it out for the din chassis aftermarket radios. the antenna is in the windshield, unless it was replaced without the antenna.
