Pain in the ass central putting thos in. crawling aroun under a truck that been undercoated a few tims sucks. there in though and so much more comfy that the bench!

Completely off topic, but what kind of sled is that in the background? The seats look good in there, I used the same ones in my 82 regal a few years back, I loved them.

Looks like it cleared alot of space with the no seats.

What did those come out of? I thought I read about people using van seats (Astro?) Is it a direct bolt up or do you have to drill holes?

yeah lots of room for a new custom console and sub!
The sled is my Dads... its a 1997 polaris XLT. I can only look at it...no driving it(its in mint shape. looks like it just rolled off the line in 1997)
They are from a safari actually... same difference though...(I think?)
if you have a bench seat you are going to have to drill at least 4 holes...at least...as there are only 2 mounting holes on each side of the truck for the bench.
BTW... one hole on each seat lined up,(safari seats holes were around 13.5 inches apart and truck mounting holes were around 11.5 inches apart)
and I couldnt even use the original mounting position on the drivers side... it was to far over to the left, and i had to drill four new holes.
on the passengers side i have to drill out a new hole on the seat base. Ill write a more detailed info later on today...

be careful just drilling through the floor to mount seats. the holes should be reinforced on the top and bottom of the floor so the seat bolts do not just tear through the floor in a crash.

do you know what year van the seats are from? and what year is the truck?
