i have the factory hood of my 2007 silverado classic for sale. It has light damage near the windshield. A tree branch fell on it and put a at most 1/8" deap dent that is about 12" wide in the center and on the passenger side each of the corners of the hood have a minor dent in the profile. More pics can be taken if nessecery. I can ship if needed please pm zip code for quotes. Shipping to almost anywhere in the northeast and maryland/VA can most likely be arranged for a very reasonable fee if its somewhere close to where my fathers travels take him. Also i travel to indianapolis monthly and could drop it off almost anywhere along the way. This is an easy fix for someone who has some experience or a good shop.

It is currently located near Binghamton, NY 13812

All of the photos have a spot just below and to the right of the center of the pic. this is NOT a blemish in the hood but a bad spot in the lense of the camera that i used. It shows up in every picture that i take with it.

I would like to get $150 for this to help offset the cost of my new hood.

so the hood is on ebay. if it does not sell i am thinking about fixing it myself and then reselling it. My thoughts are to place a fiberglass 98-02 ss style camaro hood scoop over the dents at the rear. Wanted to get some opinions if for one it would look good and for 2 if anyone would buy it.

here is the scoop i am thinking of putting on

I wouldnt put that scoop on it. I think if you repaired those dents and left it primed you could sell it easily. Im looking for one of those hoods now but I can buy a brand new OE hood primed for around $450 shipping included. Youre probably gonna have to lower the price more. I have my 05 hood in mint condition for sale only $120, so youre damaged one might be a little high.
