I added this to my truck about a year ago. I got the mirror and sensor out of the junkyard and hooked them up to my truck. The plug in for the mirror was up in the headliner. I couldn't find the plug in for the sensor down under the drivers side headlight so I spliced into the wiring harness in the headliner. I then ran the wires to the front bumper. Everything has been working fine for a year until today. The mirror started reading warmer and warmer. It now reads about 30 degrees higher than the actual outside airtemp. Anybody got any ideas?
