If you are talking about foam for a seat or somthing like that I just use an electric knife like you would use to carve a turkey. :rocking:

I took the foam out of my jump seat to use as a soft backing for my console and I wasnt too sure how to cut it

you can get what they call an insulation knife. about 10'' long and really sharp when new, u can get one at any home depot or lowes
