RPM Gauge making weird noise 2006 model

My rpm gauge or something in my cluster is making a noise when the truck first starts up, anyone had any problems with theirs?? Also what is the fix, new cluster, send off for repair?? My truck is no longer under warranty

it is prolly the stepper motor. mine done the same in my 04. it have an extended warranty 70k miles. idk about the 06 but mine did. might want to check into that.

it def sounds like a gear, is this a part that can be purcahsed or do you know?

i think you can buy the stepper motors. i dont know the pn# though.
