So the door in my 94 OBS ECSB has a slight sag to it that seems to be a common occurence. I have a couple of other issues that are going along with it.
First off, the armrest is way loose, only the screw is holding it on and the back of it catches the weather stripping when you open the door. I need to replace the armrest and I see them on ebay, I was wondering it those were a suitable replacement. Also, how does the back of the armrest clip into the door panel? Can't tell as the existing one is broken.
Secondly, my door handle will open the door but I do have to push the door open at times, like it doesn't totally open. I am thinking I need to replace that handle as many of you have. Is this an easy replacement for someone who is not an auto mechanic like me? I see some nice step by steps for this in here for a 98 but not for a 94.
Also, the manual lever for the door lock(I have power locks) does not go up and down even though the power locks and unlocks. I would not be able to lock or unlock manually if I had to. Prior owner did say someone tried to break in. I am wondering if this is an easy fix.
Finally, what is the part number for the little white clips that hold in the door panels? I need a few already but will need more if I remove the door panel to fix stuff.
Thanks!
