I have a 1997 obs silverado. It had cloth seats with power lumbar and I put leather seats in from a 1998 suburban. I have the brown wire and the orange wire spliced together and spliced into the trucks existing power for the power lumbar. I can hear the relay for the seat heater click, but the seat does not warm up. Any thoughts?

I haven't checked on my 99 seats, but it might be possible to check the element (the wire in the seat). On a side note, it might be better to put the brown wire back to switched 12v instead. This will help prevent the battery from getting drained and protect the heat element from burning out, incase the heat is ever left on by accident. I don't remember the lumbar having it's own wire, but rather shares power with the seat track.
