2002 Door panel help

I read and searched threads have not found anything with the old fashion roll down windows. I'm trying to get the roll down window handle off so I can take the panels off to get to the front speakers. Any hint's over than putting a little more ass on pulling the handle? Thanks.

it has a metal clip that holds it on (there is a tool for it) but you can probably get it off with a pic. Be careful they tend to fly off into never never land!

a pick tool. it looks like something the dentist would clean your teeth with. You could probably use a big paper clip and bend one end.

or go to the local parts store and buy the $5 tool

I mentioned the right tool in the first post but if he's 25 and doesn't know how to get the handle off the tool may rust before he uses it again!

I own 2 or 3 of them but I use a pick when I don't feel like lookin for the right tool.

Before I had the clip tool designed for those clips, I was able to do it with a flathead screwdriver. As mentioned above keep your eye on the little clip since they love to fly away.

Thansk all got it with a small screw driver. Just did not see the clip until it was mentioned above.
