im looking to get a custom done to my 97 chevy sub, should i get it painted first or have the interior done first?

I think the right way to do it would be to pull the interior, then paint, then do the interior. But I am doing it backwards myself. Just have to rely on a really good masking job when doing the door jams.

I dont know you'll be spending alot of cash either way. I say if you gonna spend some cash why not spend it on something other passer bys can see and enjoy. I say paint it first.

If going custom, the only logical thing to do is pull the interior and then paint. This is how every custom shop does it. They don't have to worry about ruining any interior parts with paint.
