I want to paint my dash to match my exterior(white)
would just a can of spray paint and then a clear coat do it?

if you want it smooth looking, kinda like a fiberglass look. You should sand it down start with 80 then move to 120 then 220 and then to a 300 or higher to get it all smooth. Then primer it. When i did mine I sanded my primer with some 440 i think it was, so it would get rid of the grain look. then i had it professional painted by a body shop. i'll try and post a pic on here

Regardless if you do the sanding and priming yourself, it is worth it to have a pro spray color on it. 1 because it will get the best results for your desired finish. 2 the color will be an exact match instead of just any ol' white.

Could you do this also with an OBS dashboard? Or are they made out of two different things?

....this subject has been beat to death people. do a search.

DA it down with 180. spray an adhesion promotor, followed by a high build primer. block it out and shoot.

process is the same on all plastics. check out my old 93
