Acc delay

I have searched for the last hour and I can't find any info on if the key out delay, acc delay or what you want to call it when the stereo and P/W still work until you open the door or it times out is an option on my 98 Tahoe LT, I am not sure if it is something you can turn off and on or if it just wasn't an option for my truck? I know on some of the older models in Chev's it was a great option.

The Tahoes/trucks didn't get that until the newer body style. You can add it with 2 relays though. I did it in my 99 Tahoe. It was a nice mod.

Do you have the mod listed, it's not that important but if it's easy I might try it, I have 95% of my interior minus the guages swapped over to blue LED's and that is soon to come so the mod might be in the works if simple enough.

Scroll a little way down on this page and there is a diagram and some instructions. Pretty simple. I wired mine so that only the driver's door triggered it to turn off. If you want to do that look at the driver's door switch it has 3 wires instead of 2 like the others.
