My passenger side window isn't working, you can hear a click and see the draw on the volt meter, so I am thinking it is the motor. Anywhere to get info on removing door panel and replacing motor??
Thanks

Pull of the little piece up by the mirror, the top pops out then it lifts out. Pull off the lock jobber, there is a 7mm screw behind there. Pull the switch panel out of the door (pry from the top of it I think) and unplug it. There is another 7mm screw under the armrest by the hand hold and one more at the bottom of the door towards the front. Then the panel lifts up and off. From there there are 4 bolts holds the regulator guides to the door panel and a couple (or around that many) holding the motor to the door, you are going to have to figure out someway to get the window down halfway or so so you can remove the two bolts that hold the window to the regulator. Then its all the same just backwards for putting the new one in.

Also you can get then entire regulator assembly from rockauto for $80. I just replaced the passenger side one on my moms 02 Tahoe.

Its actually very easy to do. In fact, once I had the regulator installed and verified that the window operated normally, my five year old son put the door back together by himself.

Great, is there a secret to keeping the window 1/2 way down?
Thanks

You can use a towel as a wedge or have someone help you out. I just unbolted the glass from the regulator and removed it from the door.

Raise and support the window glass.
Remove the trim panel.
Remove the water deflector.
Disconnect the harness from the electric window motor assembly.
Remove the 2 bolts that hold the window glass to the regulator.
Remove the 6 bolts from the window regulator.
Remove the window regulator assembly from the door by folding both sides of the window regulator assembly together.

One thing that I found that made it easier to get the regulator out and back in the door was to cut the ziptie that holds the two cables together where they cross. It seemed to be easier to get it folded and out that way.
