was wondering if anyone knows a good way to bond plastic back together? i am sectioning a plastic grille and need to get it back together, will i have to use fiberglass or is there something like plastic welding? please let me know, thank you!

there are some really strong epoxies on the market.. most you can get from places like home depot

like a super glue? what about covering the crack?

no, super glue is junk.
how big of a crack? there's fillers and stuff you can use. most epoxies are thick enough to cover small cracks too

lol i didnt mean exactly superglue well, you see your bar that covers the middle of ur headlight in ur sig, im cut that in half and section about half and inch to an inch and bond it back together. im sure i can use a good epoxy to get it to hold back, but i also need to conceal the actual line of the crack. like welding 2 lines together, except with plastic. needs to look like i never cut it

You got any pics of that. There is such a think as a plastic welder. Google it.

Take your plastic shavings and mix with acetone.
It melts them and then it can be used like glue.

so i can just place the 2 peices together and pour the melted plastic over it and in between it?

This is the stuff I use by Permatex.
You can find it at most auto part stores.
If you want a really strong bond, cut fine strips of fiberglass mat and put it in with the epoxy. I've had stuff welded for years with this stuff that has never come apart.
