We're looking to sell our truck. We've had it almost 7 years and just bought a new truck and have no need for the truck anymore. Truck is located in Hurst, Tx between Dallas and Fort Worth. I can schedule a time during the week or weekends to show the truck. Email me at tabojon@chrobinson.com or call at 817-999-1617 for more information.
Asking $3895 obo.
1989 GMC 1500 4x4 5.7L 350 V-8 with manual transmission.
Interior - Perfect shape, no rips of tears in seat, no cracks in dash. Very nice Sony CD Player. Clarion 2 Channel amp comes with it. The amp is several years old and is not currently wired to any sub but does work. Rubber floor makes for easy cleaning. 3 toggle switches wired into the over head console. 2 sets are for front Hella KC lights and rear back up lights. The 3rd is wired for another set of lights if you wished to add. Also, there is a functional tachometer mounted at the overhead console. (see pics for both toggle switches and tach).
Exterior - Paint is faded maroon and there is some body damage on the passenger side rear of the vehicle. These are the two worst characteristics of the truck. Now on to some of the better ones. 6 inch Pro-Comp lift kit, professionally installed at four wheel parts approximately 3.5 years ago. At the time, it was the best kit you could buy and came with any option they offered for this model truck. 1 month old, brand new BFG AT's 315/75/16 with ~1000 miles on them bought at Kaufmann Tire. They have extended warranty from Kaufmann. Also have a matching size spare Pro Comp Mud Terrain with ~40% thread left. The wheels are aftermarket wheels, 16x8 and I believe Eagle Alloys. Ranch Hand bumpers front and rear. Tractor Supply black diamond tool box and bed rails. Cowboy cut dual exhaust.
Mechanically - New brakes all around, new u-joints, Centerforce stage 2 clutch, working AC, new clutch master cylinder, Optima yellow top battery. Brand new K&N air filter. Reverse lights inside tail lights do no work. That is why he mounted heavy duty backup lights to the bumper and ran the toggle switches. These Chevys are known for their relay switches for the tail lights to go out. He got tired of replacing the same $36 part to have it go bad 1 month later.
The truck was DRIVEN DAILY almost for the past 7 years. It runs great and starts everytime. 2nd owner vehicle and was bought from a Policeman who bought it new from the factory in 1989. CLEAN TEXAS TITLE. Also comes with factory wheels, and 3 extra pro comp mud tires.
