For sale: 1998 GMC 1500 single cab short bed truck; old body style. Here is an extensive list of the things that have been professionally done to the truck.
Exterior: Billet 30 bar grille, triple chrome plated front smoothie bumper, clear front corner and parking lights, shaved antenna. The bed was just replaced with a stepside one (pics are dated). The Truck would be completely finished as soon as the paint is sprayed. The cab and front end is perfect and has never been hit, still has OG paint. The bed is in the same contidion with the exception of a pinhole in the corner.
Suspension: DJM/Belltech drop kit that lowers the truck 5" in the front and 8" out back. There is also a DJM 3" notch in the frame to clear the axle (professionally installed). The rubber bushings in the front end have been replaced with polyurethane bushings from energy suspension. Also has new brakes in the front. The truck will come with two sets of wheels (red steel smoothies and the factory alloys) The front tires have less than 500 miles on them and are Cooper Cobras. The rear tires have 75% tread left on them.
Interior: Dash has been smoothed and painted to victory red. The passenger door panel is covered in sand colored tweed, extra tweed will come with the truck to finish it. There is a kenwood head unit with a 10" kicker sub in a custom center console/enclosure.
Engine: 4.3L engine w/automatic 4L60E transmission. The engine is stock other than a cat-back with a single chamber flowmaster muffler and a K&N filter. It has just hit 100K . It has never leaked a drop of oil or given me any problems. Trans is great as well. Last month all fluids were changed (brake, trans, synthetic oil, power steering).
I hate to sell the truck but it has to sell by the 1st of may. The price is somewhat firm, but throw me an offer. Truck is located in Valdosta, GA. Willing to meet up to a certain distance. Truck is a wonderful daily driver and will get you anywhere. Once the outside gets some paint this truck will turn some heads. Please call me, I do'nt have much email access right now.
