What kind of dash light?

My guage cluster in my 91 silverado has a bulb out. What kind of replacement bulb does it take?

Do it the hillbilly way and pull off one of your many clearance lights and use that to illuminate the speedometer

does your truck have the moonie cluster? if so and you want blue led's you'll hafto remove the green film from the underside of the cluster.

bulbs should be 194's

No I have the newer looking 91-94 dash with the tach. How much would a LED upgrade cost me??? Could I do red?

Yup. Red's available, as well as yellow, green, blue, and white. But like stated before, on the moonie cluster, you have to remove the green film first.

88 to 93 for sure anyway. The analog gauge cluster with the tach needle was an option starting in 91 but I 'think' the moonie still came standard on certain models all the way up to 93 or 94 I believe. My 91 came stock with the moonie but have since gotten my hands on a used 1991 454ss gauge cluster. Much, much better IMO. 0-110 MPH speedo and 0-6000 RPM on the tach.
