Defrost Vent Not Working

So the driver side of my defrost does not work. No air comes out of the vent but it does on the passenger side. so I'm thinking that either a hose fell off or there is some sort of valve that is stuck open. I'm looking for some ideas of what to look for before i crawl under the dash or someone with previous expirence with this issue to help me out. Thanks alot.

There's a little metal parts that has some plastic or rubber that breaks on it. It connects from a little actuator to the "air routing flap"

You could go to the dealer and show them an exploded diagram.

It right in the middle of the dash on the black plastic a/c duct near the floor. It sucks to mess with it with the dash on.
