Rear door electric window on 4dr crew cab

I have a 1984 K-3500 crew cab truck. Recently when you hit the switch to lower or raise the rear window on the passengers side rear door, you can hear the motor working, but it doies not go up or down. SO I took the internal door panel off and there is no way of getting behind the metal door panel to look at the track etc. Am I not seeing it, or is the door panel really sealed that tight?

I thought about taking a torch and cutting the door inside behind the plastic dorr panel so that i could access it, but the plastic would cover the hole up.

Any ideas?
