Lights Dimming

I just noticed the other day, I was driving my truck at nite, and noticed the headlights were dimming darker/brighter, and the interior on the dash were as well. Everything seemed to be normal and the battery was at normal level...just curious what this could be.

THe music wasn't loud, and didn't have anything plugged into the 12V.

And No, I hadn't been drinking...

Just curious if this is a sign my alternator might be going?

how did you decide your battery was at normal level? if your basing that on the stock gauge, then dont. Check your levels with a volt meter while the truck is idling.

Then upgrade your BIG3!

What year, sometime around 2005 or 2006 they make a change to the engine computer to where it will turn off the alternator at times and run just from battery.
