CD player quit working?

my CD player quit working on me not to long ago, it's like theres something blocking the CD's from going in, but the blue light still shines and theres not a CD already in it.
any ideas/fixes?

do you here the electric motor running inside when the radio is on? probably gonna need to get a new or refurbished unit or get an aftermarket one.

every now and then the motor will be really loud to where i can hear it over everything else.

the electric motor/gears are probably worn out or the drive circuit is burnt.
