Hey. I'm trying to sell my 98 k1500. Its an extended cab long bed with 97k on the clock. It got a new radiator and water pump when I bought it a year and a half ago. It had new wheel cylinders and shoes about 10k ago. The trans was just rebuilt by Aamco. I also replaced the wiper board, got 2 hi flow cats and a new gasket on the front pipes, and a K&N drop in filter. Its on stock rims with 33" BFG mud terrains. One is brand new, 2 are at about 3/4 tread, and one is around a quarter of tread. I also have another set of rims, on 265/75/16 crappy all terrains. I also have a HU and a set of front speakers to let go with this truck. It has 3" blocks and an AAL in the rear, and a cranked front that gives it a really agressive look, especially on the 33"s.

However it does need some minor work. Front hub and bearing, spindle, CV axle shaft, rotor caliper, and pads all need to be replaced. The ABS light is on cause I have a bad wheel speed sensor and I just pulled the fuse. I dont really like ABS so this was never an issue for me, but if you wanted to fix it, a new wheel speed sensor is cheap. It also might need an oil pump, but more then likely its just the sensor. It shows very low oil, but the engine never overheats, so you can be the judge of that one. Also, I believe it needs a new distributor cap. Again, very cheap repair. All in all, these repairs can be done by a home mechanic for very cheap compared to the price of the truck. I'm selling it well below blue book value.

There is one big dent on the 3rd door, and a smaller one on the bed, near the rocker panel. The paint has a fair bit of scratches on it. The front bumper also has a dent in it. The rear bumper is brand new as well as the hitch.

All and all this truck is very mechanically sound. Ive never had an engine problem and the trans was rebuilt just a few thousand miles ago. With a few minor repairs, this truck could treat you well for a very long time.

I'm trying to get $4,500 OBO. The Kbb value of the truck in good condition is over 7k. The mechanic quoted me 1200 to do the front suspension and brake work, but I'm sure you could do it yourself for much less. Even so, spending maybe 1,500 on a truck that cost 4,500 would bring the total to 6k, still over a thousand dollars below its blue book value, and you would have a very strong running truck.

I'll get pics up when I get the truck back from the mechanic, probably tomorrow.
