So the Geo that I've been driving while working on the Yukon's SAS has done it's duty. It was given to me as a gift while I tore the Yukon down. Time for the next owner. It's not quite a Ferrari in showroom quality but it serves a specific purpose as a commuter/beater. It's a goofy little car, granted, but it's been reliable for me and done fine 180 miles one way @ 70mph. It gets 29-31mpg pretty much in any situation. It would be as home destroying mud pits as it would getting sicccccc air at Pismo with the mid travel guys. But seriously, I am trying to sell this car. It's done it's duty well but I have splurged for a Corvette. I believe it had about 26,000 miles when I took posession in September 2006. I know this is a pretty drastic difference from my SAS Yukon, but please only serious inquiries in this thread. Bottom line, it's cheap, 30mpg, reliable.
Specs as follows:
1991 model Geo Tracker 2dr convertible
miles: 40,000
No power steering but the steering is still easy.
Has A/C but have not fiddled with it to make it work right
1.6L EFI
5speed manual trans
tires are OK, probably last another 8,000
Brakes/steering/etc all tight
Has some Sony Xplode cd player
the camo is real paint, not done by me or my choice
does have an external oil leak- looks like oil pan gasket at the front of the engine, burns about one quart per 3,000 miles.
interior is gray cloth, some yellow paint on the exposed steel areas from original paint color
interior is not pristine like a Ferrari, clean, but not tear free
price: $2000
a picture for now, will take another tonight:
