I have a 91 Suburban that has a missing headliner. The burb is a beach beater so i dont want to buy an aftermarket replacement. Any suggestions on some self adhesive stuff i can stick up there. I live in South Texas and sitting under bare sheet metal is like a damn oven. Thanks.

Thats one idea. In true redneck fasion it would have to be a Texas flag.

Make a headliner out of some cardboard, foam fill, cloth and spray adhesive. :dunno:

wow... i never thought about that. that would make it really hot in there.

i really have no new innovative way to fix this... after all, farting in any way, shape, or form won't help the problem. it'll only make it hot, stinky, and steamy in there on a summer day at the beach. :sorry:

How about cutting a circular portion out of the roof, then reattach it with hinges and a latch. You'd have to make a ring which would overlap beneath the hatch inside the cab then apply weatherstripping. Then put the headliner up and when it get too hot you can just slam it open. Way cooler than just a sunroof, more like a hatch on a tank, well you get the idea.

Or ram air scoops on the roof with a simple butterfly valve in the cab, I always though that would be a cool way to cool a cab down.
