View Full Version : trim paint help, color code question domestictuner 06-24-2008, 11:24 PM i have called a few places with no luck, the dealer says the interior trim color in my 99 nbs excab is called shale and is code 92d, the paint mixer at napa says that code doesn't exist and won't guarantee a paint match off the original piece.. can anyone help out? trim is the stock light gray color, i need something that will match fairly close so i can paint my pillar pod White_Stealth 06-24-2008, 11:27 PM I believe 92D is medium neutral, not 100% sure, but the color does exist, you just need to go to an autobody supply store to get the paint the guy at napa doesn't know what he is talking about. You're giving an interior color code, and his references are probably for the exterior shades. An exact match might not be possible with what he has to work with ... Maybe one of the interior paints from LMRS?
