can i make all new glass ones by molding these ones in tape or aluminum foil then laying down my matt or should i just use some mdf and fleece then glass it ??? this would be my first time glassing anything

you would get better results using gelcoat to keep the texture. Here is how I would go about it:
-wax the armrest pads with Partall Paste (release wax product)
-Brush on a couple coats of PVA (release film, air dries)
-Then spray or even brush on a couple layers of gelcoat.
-When gelcoat is fully cured, do a few layers of fiberglass.
-Pop the armrest out, trim your mold, and repeat the steps again and when done you will have a perfect gelcoated mold.

It is alot easier than it seems. Gelcoat requires same MEKP hardener as the resin. Both the PVA and wax you can get from Partall. Its just a matter of finding a place that carries them.
