I recently took my 96 Tahoe LT 4wd to a shop to get the A/C charged. They informed me the orfice tube was blocked. While trying to remove the tube, they twisted the condenser and had to replace it. Upon reinstallation, the messed up the line and had to replace it. While trying to replace the line, they twisted the evap. fitting and boogered up the threads. After 3 weeks and no progress, I "repo'ed" the Tahoe. I have reinstalled and charged the system. My problem now is the bright light indicator and left turn signal indicator stays on all the time, gear position indicator(sometimes says i'm in rev. when I apply the brake),and when I use the left turn signal, the speedo and tach jump with the corresponding blinks. Also the cruise no longer works. I took the dash loose again to make sure no wires had been pinched or separated. Also when the brights come on, the indicator turns off. I am wondering if this is a possible ground issue, or if the turn signal switch was damaged when the dash was originally removed. I figured I would check with the forum before I found another shop. I am still a bit skiddish. I did search the forum to find possible culprits. Thanks in advance.

by repoed do you mean that you just used your spare key and took it from there shop at night? that would be badass..but they still have your keys and isnt it ilegal?

sounds like a ground to me. look around the area by the A/C stuff under the hood for a cab-to-frame ground unhooked or severed. just go over it all with a fine-tooth comb...look for any loose ground connection...
