Help trouble shooting electrical on power windows

I have a 95 suburban and followed the window regulator window removal thread before testing the switch- duh. Motor appears to work in both directions, but the switch is dead as is the driver master switch for this particular window. How do I follow the wiring to find where the short is located in order to get the rear driver side window back up and working? Is there in line relays that might be bad or have enough resistance to keep the juice from conyinueing on to the switch? I have power to all the other windows individually and through the master switch at driver door. This is my first foray into electrical since I last worked on 67 VW back in the 70's.
