need opinion on window tint

im just wondering about tinting my windows if 5% on the two rear windows and back window and like 20% on the to front side windows would be the way to go

I have 5% all the way around and then on top on factory 20% on ext and back glass windows and I can see fine.

Put 20 on your back windows. You will get the same effect and still be able to see out of them at night. Then I would say either 5% or 15% on your fronts.

If u ever have to back up at night, you wont like(unless u gots xray vision). I had on my last truck, couldnt see nothin.

I have 32% all around, its not too dark, its still illegal here, 50 is legal, but any lighter than 32% is just a down right waste of money. I have 5% all around on my Audi, it measured 2.5% on the cops meter..... all 3 times I got ticketed for it too.

Well I have had the same delima in the past. Started out tinting the fronts to match the back, then I put a layer of 15% all the way around making the front two 15% with the backs a little less than 5%, now I have replaced the fronts with 5% so everything is a 5%. When I got my first ticket though it actually came out to be 4% so it was actually a little darker than I thought. :rocking: The moral of my story is go as dark as you really want the first time because if you don't you will spend more money the second time to get what you wanted to begin with.

my truck has 15% front windows and a layered 30%/5% on the back

im about 7 tint tickets deep in the great state of california... but on the other hand they got me out of a carpool violation one day...a chp came up next to me on the freeway starred at my cab and kept goin..saved me about $300

the back window is impossible to see out of at night..but the side windows are fine.

thats exactly what I have-5% up front is undriveable a night IMO. 5% all around looks good, but mine looks just as good IMO.

Yeah...I stayed light with mine. 35% on the rollups and factory on the back.
When I bought the truck from my bro he had 5% all the way around and 35% down the windshield with an 8" strip across the top. You couldn't see a damn thing...got that off immediately.
