NBS Mirror Swap Question...

I have a mirror that has the airbag on/off indicator built into the mirror.

Does anyone know if I could swap in an aftermarket mirror, if it would cause me any air bag issues by having that pigtail unplugged?

I posted the exact same question, from what I was told they have no effect.
