HELP!!! My speedometer stropped working

So im coming home from court today and I noticed my speedometer is stuck on 58mph. I have a 04 z71 and was wondering if any one knows any solutions. This really sucks because i just ordered my tires and wheels. Also a while back i remember getting something in the mail about a lawsuit against GM for faulty gauges......

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated

well it looks like the problem is solved! I found that letter and called the number and apparently i can go to any chevy dealership and they will fix it free of charge. Apparently GM is offering a special warranty for any one who has this problem as long as they have under 70k miles and there truck is 7 years old or younger

dont let them get away with the 70k deal. My dealer told me they raised it to 94k without informing anyone, so if you are above 70, you still should be good.

im at just over 50k so i wont have a problem but thats good for some people to know
