nbs plastic sheet between door frame and door panel

i was out detailing the truck the other day and i noticed that there is a piece of plastic that is falling down on the bottom of my door. the plastic is like a thin sheet and it is in between the door frame and the door panel. what is this for and how can i fix it? i pushed it back up a bit but it wouldnt go far. anyone else have this problem?

I'm pretty sure it's there to protect the inside from dirt, dust, water, etc. I don't have mine on there anymore, since it's going to be a full show truck. If it won't stick, you should be able to tack it back on with some glue.
