I have a 02 silverado. I have no dash lights what so ever.. I also have no lights with my climate crontrols.. I have checked every fuse in the truck and nothing. I have no idea what it is. any ideas.. thanks

Some of the older silverados were notorious for lights going out, but I have never seen any with all of them out. All that is, is a variable resistor. You dim it, voltage drops, you put it all the way up, full voltage. Check input voltage on it, then output voltage. If you have no output voltage or it doesnt vary with the adjustment, its a bad switch.
