No heat or AC ?????

this is a 95 2dr tahoe

The conrols on the dash seem to do nothing no fan, no air movement at all accept for the floor vents blasting hot air all the time... im told this is a common problem in this generation GM.... is there a common solution?

of course i checked the fuses but i dont even know where to begin.

Same thing happened on my truck about a month ago. I couldn't get any air moving at all, period. If i hit the a/c the compressor would go on, but no air. I didn't get the blowing hot air, but what eventually fixed it was the fan switch.

my 96 is doing the ssame thing hot air on the ground only compressor is not kicking on i brought to a family friend that owns an a/c shop and he told me that my controls were bad very common in my body style so i bought a new one and now it works good as new

the thing that went bad on mine was the actual switch to select like high, low fan speeds. I ended up having to bring it to a shop because I didn't have time, and thats what they found.
