does anybody have wind noise on there ext. cab doors?

Yup, I've got it on my 2000. Supposedly a slightly shorter piece is available on ebay that will pull the window closer and tighter to the body of the truck.

Had wind noise in my '03 so bad you could not hear the radio. My '97 is bad at times.

My '05 ECSB has it, mostly on the driver's side. It's better if I really slam the E-Cab door, sometimes it's not latched tight at the top.

My '00 has it bad if the wind is head-on. Your doors are probably sagging.

mine was really bad when I first got it its a 92 but it was missing the seal between the door and cab also if the doors are sagging you'll get it.

its the window latch, its doesnt seal tight enough, as said before get the shorter latch from ebay it will fix it

yeah ^ i had wind noise for a while and it just turned up to be my window latch was not attached all the way.

I'm having this issue on my 99 nbs. The window latches on the ext cab windows don't close tight enough and I get wind noise. Can anyone point me to where I can get these shorter latches on ebay.

I hear that. My '95 GMC 1500 had that on the drivers side X-cab window!!!

Now my '98 GMC 1500 has that but on the passender side x-cab window. When the radio is on I dont hear it so its fine. So yeah sometime I'll get around to it then.

Oh sure post that after I found the latch fix on ebay and bought them! I could have fixed my problem for less than $1 instead of $35 plus $10 for shipping. Oh well...live and learn.

It seems that the bracket the holds the latch stretches or moves close to the window over time an doesn't allow the latch to close tight enough.
