I'm getting conflicting answers from searching the board. I need to remove the jump seat in my truck and I don't know what size the rather odd nuts are.
I need to know because I don't have any metric deep well sockets and I want to get the right one.

It's T 5.0 for the '88 - '89, but who knows, they may have changed.

I have heard of people using regular sockets that fit on there well enough to take them out. Give that a shot.

ive used regular sockets to remove them.. just fit sae or metric and see what fits snugger... and simply bust it loose with a rachet... works every time!

I think I used an 11MM on one and a 15MM on the other, i believe a 12 point socket works better than a six.

:jacked: i never tried it, but i was wondering. would you have to take the driver and passenger seats out to take out the jump seat?

Yes, both seats need to come out in order to get the jump seat out. Also as I recall as mentioned above it is the 11mm and 15mm deep wells that fit for getting the nuts/bolts out.
Have a nice day.

Yes it is 11mm and 15mm however the 11mm does not need to be a deep well as they are bolts, whereas the 15mm are nuts on a long stud.
Thank you everyone for your help and correct info :10:
