Interior Door Lights

My door panel lights (red/white lens) are not working at all. I put in new bulbs and checked the fuse and still nothing. Are they supposed to come on when either door is open like the dome light ?

Yeah they should come on when you open the door... id check the wire it could have gone loose some where
