Seems alot cheaper to just get the bulbs instead of getting a set of new taillights. :dunno: georodder 08-27-2008, 02:35 PM courtesy lights are 194's. If you use superbright, get there WLEDx5wide angle LED bulb for the courtesy light [2] and get a high power LED Festoon bulb-6LEDs7.00 42mm 4210-B5 0.75 for the dome light. You'll love them. I also put the 194 wide angle blue LEDs in the inst. cluster. They're great. By the way, these numbers are for my 2000 GMC. 01 Silverado should be the same. $gmoney$ 08-27-2008, 03:54 PM courtesy lights are 194's. Also, I would recommend the WLED-x6 bulbs for the courtesy lights instead of the WLED-x5 bulbs. The WLED-x6 bulbs project a lot more light directly to the floor, the WLED-x5 bulbs just throw light everywhere. camman931 10-01-2008, 12:41 AM what about 2006 silverado 1500 dome light. what should i go with Striker49 10-01-2008, 10:58 AM I've had great luck with the bulbs I'm running from Superbrightleds.com. I got them fast and am using them for my cluster and they work perfect. Now to fix that busted solder joint. mattman87 10-01-2008, 11:12 AM subscribed. burntfrog 10-06-2008, 11:09 AM I came across this and I was trying to find some colored bulbs for my 91 chevy. The two under dash courtesy lights are the type the push in and turn to lock in place...do they make colored replacements for them? I didnt see any like that on those websites. Or should I just upgrade the socket... vBulletin® v3.8.2, Copyright ©2000-2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
