With the demise of my daily driver due to piss poor Ford engineering I want to sell the truck to pick up some sedan that gets good gas millage. I've spent a good amount of time fixing all the little crap that was wrong with it and making it presentable. It has a laundry list of new parts in the last 5k miles...

Alternator
Plugs + Wires
Starter
Front CV
Brakes all the way around
Magnaflow exhaust
Power Steering pump

It has 223k miles thus far. Has a rebuilt transmission but I believe the motor is original. Still needs a bit of work, but I've been driving it 70 miles a day since the car died. Asking $3000. Makes a great winter beater.

What mechanical work do you think it'll need to be a daily driver?

I've been driving it 50 to 70 miles daily so it really doesn't need anything to daily drive. There is a thunk in the driveline somewhere that is annoying, pretty sure it is one of the U joints or a trans/motor mount. Also an exhaust leak I haven't had time to hunt down too and the transmission gasket is bad and it leaks a few drops a day. I top it off once a month when I change the oil.

Good luck on the sale. I love 2 door hoes, it would be an awesome little project for myself or someone, only if i had the extra cash.
