Alright guys, after the hurricane damage and the blow rear axle, I decided to just use the insurance money to pay the beast off and fix it myself, well a deal for a car for my wife fell through and it looks like I'll be getting the brand new vehicle, sucks I know. :aniteef:

Anyways, I want to see if y'all think this is a fair deal considering the damage and what not.

2000 GMC Sierra Z71 ECSB
140,000 miles
Dark Grey interior
285 Firestone A/T's with about 10,000 miles on them, still in great shape though
Rhino Liner
Right now it has no muffler with a turndown midcab, I'll include the Dynomax however.
Overall a very clean truck that does not show its mileage. An old man owned it before me and he took very good care of it. It's only been off road twice since I've had it and that was only some mud in a field and a soggy gravel road.

As some of you know, a tree fell on my truck during Hurricane Gustav. The insurance quoted me $4,000 for all of the repairs. However, all that is really needed to be fixed professionally is the roof skin, which costs $500 and takes 15 hours of labor to install. Basically, if you did the repairs mostly yourself, it wouldn't cost nearly as much.

As some of you also know, the spider gears ate themselves to pieces recently on my way home from work. To replace the carrier and gears I was quoted $1000, so if someone would want to buy it as is, I'll knock that much off the price...

I'd like to get $7,000 for it with the rear axle fixed.

Here are some photos of the damage...

Oh yeah, I also just painted the GMC emblem flat black...

I really need to sell this truck because tradin it in won't get me anything for it. I am open to reasonable offers...

Thanks in advance guys.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that it comes with a 5 year/100,000 mile powertrain warranty from Autosave which was bought when I bought the truck in March at 129,234 miles.
