Nice but what part of it took two months ? With removal and all work involved for the end product I see 3 weeks at the most. And that's with installation.
What took so long ? It appears to be done in an established shop.
p.s.- what's the long thing sitting on the tall box ? I can't remember that part in an OBS interior unless it goes under the seats.

the long peace is the soft peace around the guages!
the only reason it took so long is cus i only worked on it after work for a few and just took alot of time and then when i started to paint the main dash peace i found a bunch of cracks and the end tip of the dash and i fixed them and then MORE would come up! so the owner just went out and bought that main peace from the dealer and it cost him 800 dollors and we got it in wensday and its done now thow so it was long but it turned out good
ohh and all the peaces you see of the dash came from the junk yard except for the main dash peice the pillers and rear piller and back panel and header panel camout of the truck!

$800 is a freaking rip for that piece but it beats the $1500 they want for the 95-96 style.
You could have come down to Houston and bought a good one from me for $150 with all the trim pieces not just the main shell, spent a few hundred on gas, and had money left over for the noodie bar. :aniteef:
Looks really sharp, I'm not really into the painted dash thing - I like my 94 stock gray - but that work looks real nice. How well does that soft part around the top of the gauge area hold up with time? I'd be worried the paint would crack on it since it's not a hard plastic piece.

Good deal. Love these OBS smoothed interiors. Im in the process of doing mine. Im just covering the center section and pad with suede instead of spending too much time sanding and painting it. Post some better pics when you get a chance. Keep it up.

nice work. i didnt want to say it, but what a dumbass for the owner to pay that much for that fuggin peice. thats what the junkyard is for. i would never spend that much for that especially since its about to be sanded and painted...right? but you did a damn good job

Looks sweet, can't wait to see it in there. Scary thing is, buddy of mine has a truck that exact same color, step side. Only the air dam and drop are different, had to do a double take at it.
Well done.

Finish looks good.
Though I would've changed up the dash a bit... Got rid of the useless 4X6 openings/grills... Customized the radio mount a bit.
