Did GM make any "captains chairs" in burgundy from 88-present or were they all grey or tan? If anyone has any for sell let me know.

you shouldnt have to look that hard. every red obs i find has that nasty color interior. yes they did make a red on tan or red on grey but i think they made more red on red combinations. :repuke:

Ya...what he said ^

They fade poorly too, atleast the plastic and cloth does. It was kind of nice at first to have something different, but as time goes on and pieces fade, you end up with every single piece of plastic a different color, from pink to dark red.

well im kind of battleing the whole plastic fade thing now, but if you look at my signature you see why i need burgandy. i already have the burgandy interior, but the previous owner stuck grey seats in it.

You can dye it to whatever color you want. OR find some bucket seats. I could probably get you a pair of 88-94 cloth or 95-98 cloth or leather up here. There is a junk yard just for chevrolet trucks about 5 min from where I work. I have got tons of stuff from them for myself and friends. Just let me know what you are after exactly and how much you want to spend.

91blkstpsd,
can you look for an ext cab with leather or cloth gray interior, maybe take some pics. i need something new bad. i don't mind if it has bench with the fold down middle armrest- think that's the 60/40, or if it has the 2 buckets with the center console.

Ok, I usually head over there every week or so. If they get good stuff in it goes quick cause its the cheapest around here.

For instance, the 96 leather seats that I put in my black truck (in sig) has a torn arm rest and I got the set for $25! lol They are both power and I plan on getting them recovered. But most of the time they ask about $100-$150 for good seats.

No yours are red. The 95+ OBS burgundy and the dark blue are the best. Dark and rich. Grey is fuggin boring and beige is gross. Not to mention they show dirt just by looking at them and everyone and their dog has grey or beige.

No you don't. :nono: They're sh!t. Good luck finding a pair that didn't crack within the first 2 years. Poor quality IMO. Cloth is where it's at for OBS anyway.

here's a set I found on Ebay but they're priced with a high starting bid. If you don't have any luck here try Craigslist for your area.

and he's right about GM leather cracking. I bought this very nice set of cloth manual seats with a center console for $150.00 locally

Those are the darkest red I've ever seen on 88-94 seats. All the ones I've seen are a bright red. Nice!
