View Full Version : OBS Defrost Vent options?

This is an old question but hoping there is a new answer. Does anyone make a billet center section defrost vent ?? Or does the stock plastic one remove from the top , without removing the dash?

It is not removeable, it's molded into the main dash carrier.

Actually you can take them out. You need to pop off the radio equalizer plate (88-'94 trucks) then release the center vents from the back. Then, I replaced mine with Empire Motorsports billet vents.

I think he's referring to the defroster vents at the top of the dash. :dunno:

There was a guy on here back in the day that made ONE and was going to look into getting more done. Not sure if that ever happened......maybe you can come up with something in the search. :dunno:
