Power Window Problem

My Driver side door's passenger window control won't roll the window up or down, but the one on the actual passenger door works fine, so I know it works fine.

Problem is I noticed at night when my dash lights are on and I hit the switch on the driver's side they dim with each press and the voltage reading for the battery shoots down. Connection problem or some sort or would I need a new switch of some kind?

Check the wiring harness in the drivers door, especially the boot area, the wires are prone to break, and is quite common.
