what would be my sources for a bench seat for my 95 extended cab for the front? i want to replace the buckets. Im thinking a regular bench out of a reg cab wont work as it doesnt slide forward to allow access to the back, would a 2nd row from a suburban work? i need the seat and brackets for it. i've only seen one extended cab with a front bend seat, did they come factory or were they only the 60/40 seats? if so what would be my sources for them other than another extended cab?
also if i remove my console, are their places to bolt the middle seat belt or will i need to make my own?

2nd row seat from Suburban doesn't slide at all, you'd have to fold the bottom forward and then the back down (two steps) to get in the back, so that's not good at all.
If you want a bench, you need an extended cab front seat.
Buckets, you can get away with Suburban buckets, you just have to do the slide and fold levers separate because there's no "entry" lever.

i thought suburbans that had the 3rd row seat would have a folding and slidding 2nd row? what about a two door tahoe? also did a bench seat come stock in a extended cab or only a 60/40?

im from mifflinburg but im going to school in williamsport. color doesnt matter, i prefer grey but i can recover it or just put a cover on it. theres not alot of extended cabs in the junk yards up here and none of them have anything but buckets. ive been to 8 or 9 trying to find a 60/40 or bench.

All OBS Suburbans have 3rd row seats, just some people take them out; they're designed to come out very easily.
Middle row seats in OBS Suburbans are fixed in place, do not slide, all they do is fold flat.
If you want a bench in your extended cab you need a bench from an extended cab.

Not all OBS suburbans had third row seating.
Access to the third row (if equipped) was by sliding and folding the "40" portion of the seat, on the right side.
You can apply this setup to your truck, if interested.

Bonneville front seats did come in a 60/40 bench/bucket version, with an armrest as well.

the bench in my dads 91 k3500 reg cab slides foward and tilts foward. Same is true for my buddys 98 GMC 1500 ext cab with full bench.

Yes, many regular cab benches slide and fold, but they won't have the "entry" lever that only an extended cab seat has. My point earlier was that you can use some other seats but it's more hassle.
There's also the very uncommon regular cab split bench in the early 90's trucks, the inside bracket on the passenger side is different (shorter in the back) because the cab floor is different between extended and regular. That bracket can be a PITA to find.
BHB - I've never seen an OBS Suburban without third row from the factory, do you have pics of one w/original flooring and no seat hooks, and a sliding second row seat? I'm not saying you're wrong or that I don't believe you, I've just had a bunch and never, ever seen one like that. Just the style where the second row is bolted firm to the floor with no sliders at all, can only fold flat.
Richard
No pics, but mine had no third row. Hell, mine didn't even have carpet!!! It was a Cheyenne model. No power windows, no power locks, two vynil benches, and a rubber floormat. Didn't even have panels in the rear cargo area.

Heh, okay, I hear you - probably something to do with the base model style interior. All the Suburbans I've seen are "regular" ones, not the stripped models, I've seen a few in pics but they seem rare enough I've never seen one in person - at least not up close.
