Hey guys, I just got through modding my gauges in my 03 silverado with blue LED's and everything turned out great except when I removed the needles from the instrument cluster panel, on a few of the gauges the shaft's came out from the little white module rather than the needle come off of the shaft.
So now I'm stuck in a dilemna to where I can't seem to get the little shaft's to go back into the modules correctly. I now have the RPM, MPH, and fuel gauge not working. I'm hoping maybe someone will have an idea of how to fix the modules, or similar.
Tomorrow I will be going to the junk yard and seeing if I cant get another instrument cluster similar to mine, in which I can swap out the gauge modules. I noticed that the little motor things can be de-soldered and replaced as long as I can get the same ones.
Anyone think they could help me out though? :dunno: If anything, what year and models will have the same little modules, in case I need to find replacement ones? I'd really like to know if anyone knows how to fix them though. :(
