I see some power window and door lock kits on evilbay that are pretty cheap. Anyone ever tried them or have pics of how they look installed? Are they worthwhile or are they just cheap china junk?

I have a Spal power window kit on my 05 and its pretty good. Just make sure you spend a couple more bucks and get the quiet motors rather than the loud ones. I made that mistake!

Is there a way to know which one is quieter?

I'd like to know the answer to that too.

I installed a spal kit (one of many) in my brothers '82 c10 over 10 years ago, still going strong.

Is installing an aftermarket power and windows easier than installing factory?

see this aftermarket installation on a 03 Silverado that does not involve removing the dash:

I've installed the A1electric.com central locking and alarm and their stuff is top notch. Their power window kits look like similar high quality.
