just got my sub enclosure from the man in the big brown truck today, and wanted to put it in to see how its going to fit. looks like its going to fit pretty decent, but now i've got a lil problem.
i folded the rear seat up so i could put it under there, and now it will fold down, but the back is folded down as well. i cant seem to get the bottom and the back apart. i only see the one lever on the passenger side. am i missing something here? or is my seat just stuck?

Maybe its not sitting all the way down. I am pretty sure that the seat has to kind of click in for you to be able to lift the back up. Is the seat resting on the sub box?

I've never had that problem with my 96, but the lever that "locks" the seat bottom down is so close to the box it will stick open and not lock the seat back up. try moving the lever to the full back position with the seat back upright...

Had the same problem. Pull the box forward a hair and try it until the seat will unfold. Then push the box back so it looks cool.

Can I see a pic of your setup. I have mine sitting on my bench seat in the back :(
It sucks, and where did you get the sub box??

What denmason said.
Also, it could be that your cables need a small amount of adjustment. I had a hell of a time getting mine to fold, years ago, needed to take up a little slack in the cables - there's two small nuts on each one that set the length. Easy to do.

its an MTX Thunderforms enclosure for a single downfiring 10. nothing special to see really.
could need adjustment or something. not real concerned with it though, as since i bought the truck this summer, this is the first time i've ever lifted the seat. we struggled with it when we pulled the remains of the stereo system out at my buddy's house, thought we had it figured out, but apparently we didn't, and just got lucky. planning on pulling it out when i do the stereo install anyways, i'll deal with it then. i'll try to get it tomorrow in the daylight, maybe being able to see will make a difference.
